FAQ’s
How long have you been in business?
I sold my first custom window blind to my sister-in-law in December, 1999. Over the years I have sold hundreds of custom window coverings to people throughout Brazoria, Fort Bend, Galveston, Harris, Matagorda, and Walker Counties.
How far will you travel to quote a job?
I am happy to provide free quotes within a 50 mile radius of Lake Jackson, Texas. Outside that radius, I consider appointments on a case by case basis. One option I present potential clients with is to email me their rough window measurements. I then prepare a tentative quote for them so we can determine if we should proceed with an in-home consultation. As you can imagine, with fuel costs being what they are, I prefer to limit extensive travel to projects involving a minimum of 10 windows.
What kind of window treatments do you offer?
I offer 2 and 2 1/2” wood and faux wood blinds, Exus custom wood and faux wood shutters, as well as honeycomb, roller, roman and panel track shades in light filtering and room darkening fabrics. I also have a selection of drapery treatments for consideration.
Who does your installations?
My husband, AJ, installs all my wood and faux wood blinds, honeycomb, roller, and panel track shades. He has been installing these custom window treatments for me since that first blind back in December, 1999 and is very experienced.
Custom plantation shutters are installed by trained employees of the shutter company.
What kind of warranty coverage do you offer?
The custom window coverings I offer are covered by their individual manufacturers’ warranties. Each product has specific coverages for its type (for example, blind cords are usually covered for five years of normal usage). A limited lifetime warranty covers defects, and I’m always happy to assist you in obtaining warranty service from the manufacturer.
The only types of repairs not covered are intentional or unintentional damage from rowdy pets, family room football games, or forces of nature such as hurricanes. In the event you need a repair not covered by the warranty, I am still happy to assist you in obtaining service that, more often than not, is still much less expensive than buying a replacement window covering.
What methods of payment do you accept?
I accept cash, personal checks, money orders, and most credit cards (with a 3.7% processing fee). A deposit is required to place an order, with the balance being due at installation.
